Temple Mount, Ground Zero

Just in case you're uncertain whether the red heifers in Israel are significant, read on...

As reported by Jordanian Al Bawaba and Palestine Chronicle (Jan 14), as well as Isreal365News (Jan 17) and JewishPress (Jan 26), the Hamas military spokesman has connected the October 7 attack to the import of the red heifers into Israel:

...the arrival of five red heifers from Texas to Israel ten months ago, strategically placed in a secret farm near Beit She’an...

The focal point is the Temple Mount and the coming Third Temple, requiring red heifers for cleansing.  Preparation for the Third Temple requires all Muslim structures to be cleared.

...when Ali writes “Al-Aqsa Mosque” he is not referring to the silver-domed structure at the end of the Temple Mount compound (the name literally means “at the end”), but the entire Temple Mount compound.

In the week prior to October 7th, as part of the feast of Sukkot, Jews rightfully and peacefully displayed control of the Temple Mount around and under the encroaching structures.  In response, our spiritual enemy unleashed a flood, an Al-Aqsa Flood, to commit the horrific & satanic massacre.

Sukkot (Hebrew: סוכות or סֻכּוֹת, sukkōt, or sukkos, Feast of Booths, Feast of Tabernacles) is a Biblical holiday celebrated on the 15th day of the month of Tishrei (late September to late October). It is one of the three biblically mandated festivals Shalosh regalim on which Jews were commanded to make a pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem.

Interesting to note, on October 7th, the book of Ecclesiastes was being read by the Diaspora because the 8th day fell on a Shabbat.  Earlier, at the beginning of Sukkot, Ecclesiastes was read by the Jews in the Land of Israel because the first day was on a Shabbat.

Times of Israel blogger Rachel Sharansky Danziger writes about the weariness is Israel, as they endure the present strife and long for their salvation to appear like an almond blossom:

The almond trees bloom and I’m thinking of salvation

I trust redemption will come, but I'm impatient: I want it to arrive as swiftly as the first blossoms and with the force of the parting sea

In Jeremiah, the Lord uses an Almond blossom's sudden opening to illustrate the way His Word will be fulfilled.

The almond tree is associated with one of the earliest prophecies of a young Jeremiah. “Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ And I said, ‘I see a branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am watching to perform My word.’” (Jeremiah 1:11-12)

This prophecy uses a play on words that carries a vital truth for Israel as well as for us. The Hebrew word for almond, shaked, is also translated “to watch”. By seeing the almond branch, God assured Jeremiah that He is watching over His word to bring it to pass, no matter the passage of time.

Things are starting to wake up!  Another Times of Israel blogger writes:

Israel’s birth in 1948 to maturity 75 years later in 2023 outlines a generation, defined as between 70 and 80 years (Psalm 90:10), which denotes the period of the last generation before the Messiah comes!

So Israel, be encouraged. Take back the land that God gave to your forefathers. Regain control of Gaza, annex the West Bank, and secure the Temple Mount so you can build the third Temple to be a house of prayer for all nations, and fulfill your destiny to be a light unto the nations (Isaiah 42:6).

In front of an impassioned audience of thousands of right-wing activists, 11 government ministers and 15 coalition lawmakers pledged Sunday night to rebuild Jewish Israeli settlements in the heart of the Gaza Strip...

Zechariah 12:10

“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

In case you were wondering, it's true, the end is near!  Are you ready?  Are you trusting in His sacrifice on the cross to save you from your sins, or relying on your own good works?  We have all sinned and broken God's law.  Don't delay in admitting your sin and giving your life to Jesus!
