Listen to the Ministers

In Friday's War Cabinet meeting, the good-guy ministers got heated with Gantz and Halevi, and for good reason.

The idea of appointing Mofaz is maddening: as defense minister he eliminated every facet of Israeli presence in the Gaza Strip, exiling some 8,000 Jewish settlers and removing the IDF from key control points, thus laying the groundwork for the Hamas takeover three years later.

Incredibly, the meeting was cut short, with the following from Netanyahu:

“Sometimes, you need to listen to the ministers.”

“Think carefully before you respond to ministers. We need to stop now; we’ll continue another time.”

Today, Bezalel Smotrich, leader of the Religious Zionist party and named after the Judahite to whom the Lord gave primary responsibility for crafting the Tabernacle, was seated at Netanyahu's right.  No wonder the BlinkenBiden crowd is worried; but it's music to my ears.
