Magog Invasion

Modern warfare described in an ancient language

It's interesting that the Hebrew words for warfare used in Ezekiel 38 & 39 are purely functional.  It's only by inference that you can connect these to physical objects.  As a result, a translation using modern object names could be made that would be fully literal and maintain the same equivalence and accuracy as a translation using ancient object names.

Ezekiel 38:1-6

Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog [or Goth], of the land of Magog [or Magoth], the prince of Rosh [or Ros, like Rosatom, Roscosmos], Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against [literal: an opposition force] you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around [literal: return to place, similar to making u-turn], put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out [literal: leave your place], with all your army, horses [literal: skip like a swallow; could describe swallow-shaped fighter aircraft], and horsemen [literal: stretched/partitioned fighting vehicle, root word can involve piecing/stinging], all splendidly [literal: perfect] clothed [literal: wrap around], a great company with bucklers [literal: shield with opposing sensation/prick, similar meaning to reactive armor] and shields [literal:  shield or covering (subtle, background), similar meaning to stealth], all of them handling [literal: external attachment; could describe a pylon or hardpoint mount] swords [literal: piercing weapon, laying waste; could describe bunker-buster weapons]. Persia [Iran], Ethiopia [Ethiopia, Sudan], and Libya [Libya!] are with them, all of them with shield [literal:  shield or covering (subtle, background), similar meaning to stealth] and helmet [literal: high round]; Gomer [uncertain, probably includes Turkey] and all its troops; the house of Togarmah [Turkey] from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.

Ezekiel 38:7-9

“Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them. After many days you will be visited. In the latter years [literal: end times, future, last days] you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. You will ascend [literal: lift, up, depart, actively mount, similar meaning to takeoff], coming like a storm [literal: rush over, destroy], covering [literal: come down on] the land like a cloud [literal: covering the sky, in transit], you and all your troops [literal: impending, wing, army] and many peoples with you.”

Eze 38:10

‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts [literal: speech] will arise [literal: on] in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: you will say, ‘I will go up [literal: lift, up, depart, actively mount, similar meaning to takeoff] against a land of unwalled villages [literal: town without walls]; I will go to [literal: come down on] a peaceful [at rest in the land following wars, first used in Joshua] people, who dwell safely [literal: confidently], all of them dwelling without walls [without walls: houses that may be redeemed, released in Jubilee], and having neither bars nor gates’ [literals: barred, door, or shut door, maybe implying post-Rapture?] — to take plunder [šālal šālāl literal: spoil the spoil, to strip off] and to take booty [bāzaz baz literal: prey on the prey;  first usage of both confidently and prey is in Gen 34:25-27], to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’ ” ’

  • There seems to be a 2-step process: Russia is blocked and turned around, then forced (maybe unwillingly) to attack Israel as the head of a coalition.
  • Russia (Magog) is also pointed out as being a guard to other members of the coalition.  Increasingly, Russia is acting as a guard against the emerging global order for Iran and many of the African nations.  Additionally, economically guarding China and India, through BRICS.












Ezekial 39:9

Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years.

Israel at the crossroads:

Israel is becoming the not-so-secret-weapon of NATO.  Germany has purchased Arrow, Finland is on track to receive David's Sling, and NATO/Ukraine continues to lobby for Iron Dome, David's Sling, and Arrow.

Both Moscow and Kyiv express interest in having Israel as a formally declared ally.

Libya is taking an adversarial stance toward Israel and they are called out as being part of the Magog coalition.

Ukraine conflict staging for Magog Invasion:

So many things about the Russian Special Military Operation in Ukraine seem fishy.  The power grid is routinely and entirely knocked out and then back on within days.

In a transformer failure, the repair or replacement work can range from 12 to 24 months

The system is still working, it is integrated, not broken or disconnected

Communication between heads of Russian and NATO intelligence seem absurdly relaxed, verging on choreographed.
