Purim & Magog

With the month of Adar II (what's Adar II?) upon us and [Small] Purim just around the corner, the definition of unwalled city is apparently under deliberation in Israel...

Rabbi Yosef ruled that Gaza is just another gentile city in our time – as-in they are currently without any permanent Jewish communities, so the soldiers will celebrate the holiday as if they were in an unwalled city

This otherwise dry discussion brings to mind an obscure but consequential reference to unwalled villiages (H6519) in Ezekiel 38:

Ezekiel 38:11

You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’

In other news, Russian Colonel-General Vladimir Zarudnitsky was quoted today as saying:

The likelihood of our state being purposefully drawn into new military conflicts is significantly increasing.

Ezekiel 38:4

I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.

In case you were wondering, it's true, the end is near!  Are you ready?  Are you trusting in His sacrifice on the cross to save you from your sins, or relying on your own good works?  We have all sinned and broken God's law.  Don't delay in admitting your sin and giving your life to Jesus!
