You have given us up like sheep intended for food,

Psalm 44:23 Awake! Why do You sleep, O Lord?

For our soul is bowed down to the dust;
Our body clings to the ground.
Ephesians 5:14 Therefore He says:
“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”
Jesus explains the Rapture
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive [take] you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
Matthew 24:40-41 “Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. “Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
Luke 17:35-36 “Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. “Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.”
Mathew 17:1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led [taketh] them up on a high mountain by themselves;
Luke 9:28 Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
Mathew 25:6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet [same word as in 1 Thess 4:17] him!’
The Holy Spirit explains the Rapture
1 Corinthians 15:51-53 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Matthew 27:51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
Shadows of Resurrection
Matthew 25:1 Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out [g1831] to meet the bridegroom.
He stayed two more days in the place where He was...
And he who had died came out [g1831]...
...his [Lazarus] face was wrapped with a cloth [g4676]...

2Co 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
With the Bridegroom
Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,
And shut your doors behind you;
Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment,
Until the indignation is past.
Matthew 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
...opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens...
Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark...
Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; “but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom...
Gen 7:16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the LORD shut him in.
The Second Coming
Psalm 45:3-4 Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One,
With Your glory and Your majesty.
And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness;
And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things.
Revelation 19:15-16 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
For behold, the LORD comes out of His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
The earth will also disclose her blood,
And will no more cover her slain.
In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong,
Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent,
Leviathan that twisted serpent;
And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.
His Millennial Kingdom
Isaiah 25:7 And He will destroy on this mountain
The surface of the covering cast over all people,
And the veil that is spread over all nations.
